Welcome to Quotably Legal ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement governing your access to and use of our website and any services, resources, or content provided therein (the "Service").

By registering for an account, accessing the website, purchasing a mentorship package, or consuming our content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Service.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

Use of this website is restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, or have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Minors may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, false, or if you violate these Terms.

2. Services & Moot Court Mentorship

Quotably Legal provides legal citation databases, curated research content, and specialized services such as the Moot Court Mentorship Programme. Regarding our paid mentorship services:

• Service Delivery: Mentorship schedules and deliverables are strictly bound by the package selected (e.g., 30-day, 15-day, or 7-day programs). It is the user's responsibility to adhere to scheduled timelines.
• No Guarantee of Results: While our mentorship aims to significantly improve pleading techniques and memorial drafting, Quotably Legal does not guarantee specific outcomes, rankings, or victories in any moot court competitions. The success of the team relies heavily on their independent application of the coaching provided.
• Service Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, expand, or remove specific service features or pricing at our discretion, without prior notice.

3. Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policy

Quotably Legal utilizes secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay) to process transactions for premium services.

• Payment Terms: All fees must be paid in advance before the commencement of any mentorship program or premium service delivery. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Refund Policy: Due to the intensive, personalized nature of our mentorship services and the immediate allocation of coaching resources, all payments are generally considered final and non-refundable once the intake process (Week 0) has commenced.
• Cancellations: If a team wishes to cancel their enrollment before the intake session is conducted, they may be eligible for a partial refund subject to an administrative fee. Rescheduling of individual sessions requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice; failure to do so may result in the session being forfeited.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content residing on the Quotably Legal platform—including text, citations, case summaries, proprietary rubrics, mentorship templates, logos, UI designs, and underlying code—is the exclusive intellectual property of Quotably Legal, protected by Indian copyright and trademark laws.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use the content strictly for personal academic, educational, or professional research purposes.
• Share publicly accessible content with proper attribution (linking back to Quotably Legal).

Users are strictly prohibited from copying, scraping, reproducing, reselling, or commercially exploiting our databases or mentorship materials (including annotated notes and video recordings) without explicit written consent.

5. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

To maintain the integrity of our platform, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
• Attempting to bypass security measures, hack, or gain unauthorized access to our servers or databases.
• Uploading files containing viruses, malware, or submitting false/plagiarized moot propositions.
• Engaging in automated data extraction (scraping, mining) without authorization.

Quotably Legal reserves the right to immediately terminate the access of any user found violating these acceptable use policies, and may report such actions to law enforcement authorities.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

While we strive to ensure absolute accuracy in our legal citations and summaries, the law is subject to interpretation and constant evolution. Therefore:

• The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. Quotably Legal makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the content.
• Quotably Legal is not a law firm. The content provided on the website and during mentorship sessions constitutes educational material and coaching, not legal advice.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quotably Legal and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, any errors in the citations, or interruptions in platform availability.

7. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including breaches or termination thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in the city where Quotably Legal is headquartered.

Before pursuing formal litigation, users agree to attempt to resolve any disputes amicably by contacting our support team and participating in good-faith negotiations for a period of at least 30 days.

8. General Provisions

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
• Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to users via email or prominent website notices. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
